Agartala, Tripura, 15th of March, 2026 : Strengthening its commitment to technology-led mobility, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., a leader in tyre technology and innovation, introduced India’s first Embedded Smart Tyres for passenger vehicles in Guwahati. The rollout marks a significant step in bringing intelligent tyre technology to the fast-growing automotive market of Northeast India.

Engineered with sensors embedded directly within the tyre structure, the innovative tyres are capable of continuously tracking key parameters such as air pressure, temperature, and potential air leakage. By delivering real-time alerts and insights, the technology enables drivers to respond proactively, improving vehicle safety, tyre performance, and overall driving efficiency.

Developed in-house and manufactured at JK Tyre’s advanced facility in Banmore, Madhya Pradesh, the next generation Embedded Smart Tyre represents the company’s latest step towards connected mobility solutions designed for modern driving needs.
