Kojagari Laxmi Puja is being celebrated house to house on Sunday (9th October, 2022). Kojagari Laxmi Puja follows on from the celebrations of Vijayadashami and the immersion of the ten-armed Goddess Durga. Laxmi is said to be the daughter of the mother Goddess Durga and the wife of Vishnu. Kojagari Laxmi Puja is celebrated in honour of Maa Mahalaxmi, the goddess of wealth and prosperity. People usually celebrate this day with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm.
