Mumbai, Maharashtra, 21st of August 2025 : Known for his remarkable performances in Marathi cinema, Prathamesh Parab is all set to take a big leap into Bollywood as the lead protagonist in the upcoming Hindi film Mamta Child Factory. The film, produced by David Nadar under the banner of Lucia Entertainment, will premiere on OTT in September 2025.
While Hindi audiences remember Prathamesh from his impactful roles in Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam and Drishyam 2, Mamta Child Factory marks the first time he will be seen as the main hero in a Hindi feature. He plays Digambar Kantode (Bhau), a small-time real estate agent who, along with his friend Chochya, gets involved in setting up a surrogacy hospital in his conservative town.
Talking about stepping into his first Hindi lead, Prathamesh Parab said that I am extremely excited and nervous at the same time. Hindi cinema has given me recognition in films like Drishyam, but Mamta Child Factory gives me a chance to explore myself as a lead actor. Working with Mohsin Khan has been a great journey; his vision is clear, and the way he balances humor with emotions is inspiring.
Director Mohsin Khan, making his Hindi debut, added that Prathamesh is a powerhouse performer. He brings innocence, energy, and authenticity to Bhau’s character. I couldn’t have asked for a better actor for my first Hindi film.
With its blend of comedy, family values, and a socially relevant theme of surrogacy, Mamta Child Factory promises to present Prathamesh in a completely new avatar, making it one of the most anticipated OTT releases of 2025.
