Hyderabad, Telangana, 29th of January, 2026 : The courts at Cross Courts, Gandipet, came alive with energy, colour, and community spirit as Secunderabad Round Table 33 (SRT 33), in association with Secunderabad Ladies Circle 17 (SLC 17), successfully hosted the second edition of the ‘Pickle in Pink’ charity pickleball tournament. The event seamlessly blended competitive sport with social purpose, raising substantial funds for community service initiatives.

With an impressive turnout of over 300 participants and spectators, the venue transformed into a vibrant, carnival-like hub. Alongside thrilling matches, attendees enjoyed engaging games, food stalls, and a festive atmosphere united by a shared cause. The signature pink theme underscored breast cancer awareness, complemented by a free cancer screening camp conducted by Arete Hospitals. Proceeds from the event will be utilised to build educational infrastructure for students at a ZPHS school.
The tournament witnessed intense competition across categories, reflecting the surging popularity of pickleball in Hyderabad. After a day of gruelling rallies and tactical play, Mayank Shete and Rushil Gupta emerged victorious, displaying exceptional skill and sportsmanship. In a closely contested final, they beat Abhishek Yelagani and Gopi Nathiddy in a 2–1 thriller, with scores of 8–11, 11–10, and 11–2, earning resounding applause from the crowd.
The winners were presented with the trophy by Mr. Mallikarjun of the Bollineni Group and Gagandeep Singh, Chairman, SRT 33.
The success of Pickle in Pink – Season 2 was strengthened by the generous support of its sponsors. Yoda Diagnostics, the primary sponsor, along with Bollineni Builders and Flyberry, played a pivotal role in delivering a premium experience for players and spectators alike.
