Motivational Tour Over Historical Monuments Conducted.

Agartala, Tripura, 17th of December 2025 : The Dept. of History and of Hindi of Government Degree College, Khumulwng have jointly organized a students practical knowledge promoting study tour to Nirmahal and Sepahijala Park with the objective of enhancing students’ conception over history, culture, and heritage. A total of 60 students from both departments have participated enthusiastically in this inspiring study tour. The tour was conducted with the aim of providing students with first-hand exposure to historical monuments, cultural heritage, and natural surroundings, thereby complementing classroom learning as well as to boost their experiential knowledge. Nirmahal, with its rich historical significance and architectural beauty, offered valuable insights into the region’s historical background, while Sepahijala Park helped students understand the environmental essentiality and relationship amidst nature, culture, and conservation. All faculty members from both the department of history and the  Hindi have actively maintained the tour to enrich the genuine knowledge of the college student participants.

The study tour was successfully led by Sri Pradip Debbarma, head of the history, dept. and Smt. Maharani Hrangkhawl, whose effective supervision and coordination ensured the smooth conduct of the programme.

Overall, the study tour proved to be highly beneficial and educational for students to achieve something innovative for the curious learners. It is believed that this academic excursion will surely enhance the students’ knowledge, curiosity, and motivation to gain a transperant comprehension over heritage site & environment.
