Multiple Services Through CAP Obtained Appreciation.

Agartala, Tripura, 23rd of February, 2026 : A series of community outreach and upliftment projects of 124 CRPF which was initiated with Free Medical Camp on 09th January 2026 at SSB Para, Baikhora, South Tripura was brought to a successful conclusion today at New Hindi Higher Secondary School, Khejur Bagan, Agartala by organizing Distribution of Free Stationery and Sports items today. It is worthwhile to mention here that 124 CRPF has conducted six such events under Civic Action Program (2025-26) at different locations within its area of operation.

Sh Ravish Kumar, Commandant inaugurated the program and the event was graced by Shri Dr B.K. Kilidar, Lok Yukta, Shri Subrata Barman, SDPO, NCC PS, Smt Suparna Debnath, Councillor Ward-04, Dr Amiya Sinha, Principal, New Hindi Higher Secondary School and officers of the Unit. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, school staffs and well-wishers from public domain. Commend able involvement of lady wives of the Unit led by Smt Snehlata Kumari lends an air of grandeur and serenity especially given their keen interaction with the students. 100 students were selected as beneficiaries and each of them were given a package consisting of six notebooks, five pens, one pencil pack, an eraser and a sharpener.

Moreover, sports items comprising of football, volleyball with net was also handed over to the school and B.B. Club, Lichubagan. In his address to the gathering, Shri Ravish Kumar emphasized upon the dual role played by CRPF with regards to securing a peaceful and secure environment where citizens can prosper. Besides providing peaceful Law and Order condition, he said, his organization is equally committed to development of human resources, education and community ties in the area. The event was openly appreciated and applauded by the staffs and members of the school as well as citizens of the area.
