Spread the love

Mumbai, Maharashtra, 12th of January, 2026 : The Third International Mumbai Carnival Music & Dance Competition Festival and Bollywood Iconic Star Award Show 2026 proved to be much more than just an event—it emerged as a powerful story of thousands of dreams taking flight from small towns and remote regions to a grand international stage.

Assam, a land rich in cultural heritage and hidden talent, often lacks access to the right platforms for its young performers. The International Mumbai Carnival bridged this very gap with grace and vision. From among thousands of children, a select group of exceptionally talented participants made their way to Mumbai, carrying confidence in their steps and dreams shining brightly in their eyes. Their breathtaking performances, deeply rooted in Assamese folk music and dance, left the audience spellbound and reinforced a powerful truth—talent is never limited by geography.

The driving force behind this magnificent initiative is show organizer Newton Hazarika, whose vision and relentless efforts have opened international doors for children from Assam. His commitment to nurturing grassroots talent turned aspirations into reality on a global platform. Adding immense value to the Mumbai leg of the carnival was renowned Bollywood choreographer Sarfaraz D. Khan, whose guidance helped shape raw talent into polished performances. According to him, “Assam has no shortage of talent; it only needs the right opportunity—and the Mumbai Carnival provides exactly that.”

The event was further elevated by the presence of eminent personalities such as Zuber Khan, Ratnakar Kumar, Sachin Yadav, Vishnu Shankar, Prarthana Chaudhary, Parnika Chandok, and Aastha Tiwari, whose encouragement boosted the morale of the young participants. A major highlight of the carnival was the announcement that the Best Dancer from the platform would earn the opportunity to perform at an international show in Dubai—a dream milestone for any emerging artist.

Chief Guest Ratnakar Kumar, addressing the gathering, emphasized the importance of such platforms in shaping new artists. His inspiring words—“When you take the first step and do something meaningful, paths begin to open on their own”—resonated deeply with every participant present.

The International Mumbai Carnival 2026 has once again proven that when the right platform meets genuine intent and strong mentorship, extraordinary stars can rise from the smallest corners of the country. More than a competition, the carnival stands as a celebration of hope, dedication, culture, and dreams—transforming young lives and redefining the future of Indian talent on the global stage.
