NCC 13 Tripura Battalion Receives New Commanding Officer.

Agartala, Tripura, 23nd of March, 2026 : On 23 March 2026, the 13 Tripura Battalion formally welcomed its newCommanding Officer, Colonel N.S. Baath, who arrived from Ahmedabad to assume charge of the unit with Guard of Honour.Colonel C. Rajasekhar, the outgoing Commanding Officer, facilitated the introduction of Colonel Baath to the key members of the battalion, including the office staff, Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), and the assembled cadets.

This was followed by a warm felicitation ceremony for Colonel Rajasekhar, who has led the battalion with distinction for the past two years. In a gesture of respect and gratitude, the ANOs honored him with a traditional risha (a Tripuri traditional scarf) and presented him with a memento to commemorate his leadership and service to the unit.Addressing the gathering, Colonel C. Rajasekhar reflected on his tenure, sharing his experiences of steering the battalion over the last two years. He expressed his deep connection with the unit and conveyed his optimism for its future under new leadership.
