Dharmanagar, Tripura, 1st of March, 2026 : With the upcoming ADC elections approaching, the Bagbasa Area Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) organized a political organizational convention on Sunday at 12 noon. The meeting was chaired by Yakub Ali and was attended by party State Secretariat member Amitabha Dutta, Dharmanagar Sub-Divisional Secretary Ratan Ray, Sub-Divisional Committee member Pranesh Bhattacharya, District Committee member Rabindrajit Rajkumar, and women leader Bijita Nath.During the convention, detailed discussions were held regarding the upcoming ADC elections. Various issues concerning local public life, the condition of education and healthcare services, and the administrative functioning over the past few years were deliberated upon.

While addressing the gathering, Amitabha Dutta urged the people to support the formation of a government that would genuinely work for public welfare. He stated that ensuring accessible education and healthcare for all, along with fulfilling the basic needs of common people, remains the primary objective of the Left Front government.
He also called upon party leaders and workers to strengthen direct contact with the people and to understand firsthand the experiences and problems faced by residents of the ADC areas over the past eight years. This, he said, would help present a realistic picture of the current situation and enable the formulation of future action plans accordingly.The convention concluded with a call for united participation in the electoral battle under the banner of the Left Front. Party leaders asserted that with the right decision, improvement in people’s living standards is possible and an end to their hardships can be achieved.
