Prabashi Tripura Summit-2025 Organized By TIFT Under GA Good Governance.

Agartala, Tripura, 28th of December, 2025 : With the initiative of The Tripura Institution For Transformation (TIFT), under the General Administration Good Governance Department Government of Tripura organized Prabashi Tripura Summit-2025 at Hotel Polo Towers, Agartala, Tripura on Sunday (28th December, 2025).

Addressing at the Prabashi Tripura Summit-2025 Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that  the experience, skills, innovative thinking, and investments of Non-Resident Tripuris will play a crucial role in achieving the goals of “One Tripura, Best Tripura” and a “New Tripura.” He stated that in recent years, Tripura has made significant progress in the fields of industry, infrastructure, information technology, healthcare, education, tourism, and administrative reforms. Through business reforms and the deregulation process, Tripura has secured a top position in the country. With the single-window system ‘SWAAGAT’, the approval process related to industry and business has been made simpler and time-bound, reducing harassment faced by people.

“Tripura has now emerged as an upcoming industrial and investment destination in Northeast India. There is immense potential in sectors such as rubber, bamboo, agar, tea, agro-based industries, handicrafts, and tourism. Citizens are being encouraged through the development of industrial parks, special economic zones, a start-up policy, and a venture capital mechanism. Tripura is also making rapid progress in the development of information technology and digital infrastructure. The state is moving forward through its IT Policy, Data Centre Policy, start-up ecosystem, and skill development programmes.”, Chief Minister added.

Highlighting the occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Saha remarked that  the health and education sectors, the Chief Minister said that with medical colleges, nursing colleges, super-specialty hospitals, modern healthcare services, and a universal health insurance scheme, Tripura has emerged as a health hub. Tripura’s natural beauty, along with its historical and religious tourist destinations, is opening up new avenues in eco-tourism and adventure tourism. To strengthen tourism infrastructure, both government and private investments are being encouraged.

Chief Minister Dr Saha also added that the experience, cooperation, and investment of Non-Resident Tripuris would be instrumental in shaping Tripura’s future. The present state government, he added, is fully committed to providing cooperation, assistance, and policy support. He  expressed his sincere gratitude to all the who participated in the summit and sought their continued support for the overall development of Tripura.

Saju Vaheed A, MD, National Health Mission and Additional Secretary to Government of Tripura delivered a welcome address at the inaugural session of the event. Secretary of the Department of Good Governance, Kiran Gitte, addressed the gathering virtually. Chairman of Bandhan Group, Chandra Sekhar Ghosh, also spoke on the occasion. Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were, Secretary of Information & Cultural Affairs Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, Chief Minister’s OSD, Parmananda Sarkar Banerjee,  many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the event.
