Khowai, 5th of July 2024 : Once again, a devastating road accident was occurred here at East Ramchandra Ghat Bazaar under Khowai police station on Friday (5th July, 2024). According to the details of the incident, a goods vehicle on the way from Chebri Bazar to Ramchandraghat Indira Colony Biswajit Deb (50) on his way home on his bicycle suddenly hit his bicycle near Ramchandra Ghat Bazar at a high speed and he died on the spot. Afterwards locals the market saw the accident and rescued him and brought him to Khowai District Hospital. After being brought to the hospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead. Later, the driver and owner of the car were brought to Khowai police station.
