Ampi, Tripura, 28th of March 2026 : Due to constant road woes in all seasons for last many years the people of South Ompi VC under Ampi nagar in Gomat Tripura are in great wrath. As per the report, the innocent indigenous villagers have been appealing to the concerned authority to renovate their road from Kala Bazar to Ampi market about five km distance but no initiative has been taken till the date. Being highly disappointed the local villagers have determined to boycott vote in upcoming ADC election 2026.
Today, over this issue local people have assembled here in Sourth Ompi panchayat premises for a crucial meeting. On receiving information MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia, Ampi nagar block TMP president Sanjay Jamatia along with Ampi 23 constituency ADC candidate Kamal Kalai have rushed to the spot and interacted with the villagers. Sources said that nothing solution has been appeared through the discussion with the local villagers.
