Agartala, Tripura, 21st of July 2025 : With the initiative of Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura organized The State-level Commendation Ceremony – Celebrating 100% Success, felicitate TBSE-affiliated Government and to Government Aided High and Higher Secondary Schools and CBSE-affiliated Vidyajyoti Schools that have secured 100% pass percentage in the Madhyamik (Class X) and/or Senior Secondary (Class XII) Examinations, 2025 at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala, Tripura on Monday (21st July, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the workshop by lighting the lamp.

Addressing at the State-level Commendation Ceremony – Celebrating 100% Success event Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Sah said that the success of a school depends on the students, teachers and the overall learning environment of the school. A school where students get quality education and are encouraged to develop their talents can be called a successful school. The current State Government is implementing various steps to create a healthy learning environment and promote quality education for every student.

For achieving 100% Success, felicitate TBSE-affiliaed State Government and to Government Aided High and Higher Secondary Schools and CBSE-affiliated Vidyajyoti Schools that have secured 100% pass percentage in the Madhyamik (Class X) and/or Senior Secondary (Class XII) Examinations, 2025. Students from 316 schools in the state have passed 100 percent. Out of these 316 schools, 50 schools were symbolically felicitated at today’s ceremony. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha handed over mementos and certificates of appreciation to the representatives of the concerned schools. Also, the Chief Minister and the guests present at the ceremony unveiled the cover of a booklet containing the achievements of the School Education Department.

“Most of the success of the school depends on the teachers of the concerned school. They have a huge role in shaping the lives of the students. Only the teachers of the school can fill the various shortcomings and problems of the students. The responsibility of the teaching community is immense to make the students successful. Along with this, the students also have to be more focused on their studies. They have to move forward with a fixed goal. The Chief Minister also said that it is not enough to be educated only in textbooks, we have to move forward keeping the concerns of the society and the country in mind. We have to move forward in changing the society. Only then will the real meaning of education come. Close relationships have to be built between teachers, guardians and students. Only then will the main goal of the state government and the central government be to spread quality education. The current Government to improve the education system in the State. T-Square education system. She said that this is increasing the standard of excellence in schools.”, Chief Minister added.

The Chief Minister also said that the State Government has given equal importance to the development of educational infrastructure. In 2024-25, new buildings were constructed in 44 schools under the Education Department at a cost of Rs. 153 crore. In 2024-25, the infrastructure of a total of 346 schools in the State was renovated at a cost of Rs. 80.87 cr under the Education Department. In addition, in the financial year 2025-26, there is a plan to construct new buildings in a total of 30 schools at a cost of Rs. 264 cr and there is a plan to renovate the infrastructure of 123 schools at a cost of Rs. 151.21cr. At the event, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also said that Tripura is currently ahead of many States in the country in terms of success in many parameters. Continuing this success of the state will depend on the students in the coming days. The future of Tripura will depend on them.

Director, Secondary & Elementary Education and State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Narendra Chandra Sharma delivered a welcome address at the inaugural session of Offer Distribution Programme today. Amidst the distinguished dignitaries participants there were Raval Hamendra Kumar (IAS), Special Secretary, Education (School) Department, Lalnunnemi Darlong, Director, SCERT and many other distinguished dignitaries were present at the event.
