Agartala, Tripura, 9th of September, 2024 : On 09.09.24 hrs at about 1220 hrs Constable B Arun Dilip of BOP Amtoli 105 BN reportedly attempted suicide at his place of duty in Panisagar Sector, North Tripura. The jawan fired 02 bullets due to which he sustained injury on left side of navel and left shoulder.
After first aid the individual was evacuated to GB Pant hospital Agartala where doctors declared him dead. BSF is conducting an internal investigation to ascertain the cause of death.
