Agartala, Tripura, 24th of August, 2024 : On 24th August, 2024 at about 1150 hrs namely, JaidevBarman (58 years) a civil electrician, and Tarunia Saha(53 yrs) residents of village Kullubari were carrying out repair work on an electric pole in Kullubari area . While repairing Tarunia Saha got an electric shock and fell down from the pole. Displaying humanitarian spirit troops of BOP Kullubari under Sonamura sub division of District Sepahijala reacted promptly and evacuated the injured person to Sonamura Hospital in BSF vehicle and got him admitted in ICU .
BSF is not only the first line of defence but also first responder for the border population in any crisis round the clock.
