Amarpur, Tripura, 27th of April 2025 : With the initiative of Tipra Motha Party yarn distribution programme has been launched from today here in Amarpur town hall in Gomati Tripura. On this occasion a large number of indigenous beneficiaries and Motha workers have assembled here in the programme venue. In presence of many dignitaries Bubagra Pradyot Bikram Manikya, hon’ble chairman, AARC, TTAADC has inaugurated the programme. As per the report, a large number of indigenous beneficiaries from different locations in Amarpur division have taken participation in the programme and availed yarn to weave indigenous garments.
Addressing the gathering Bubagra has said, “Our indigenous culture and costumes are our identity and we have to preserve and protect it. Our indigenous women are active in weaving; producing garments and identical costumes since centuries. So, our target is create more enthusiasm amidst women and promote this.”
\Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Purna Chandra Jamatia, CEM, Pathanlal Jamatia, Ampi MLA, Sadagar Kalai, MDC, Sanjay Jamatia, Ampi block president and many others remained present in the programme.
