Agartala, Tripura, 13th of January, 2025 : Tourism is no longer just a means of entertainment. Tourism is now identified as an important industry. Tourism planning is closely linked to the socio-economic development of any country or state. So, tourism has also been declared an industry in our state. Today, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said this in response to notice Chief Whip of Legislative Assembly MLA Kalyani Roy in the Assembly. The tourism minister also added that initiatives have been taken to attract more tourists to the state of Tripura.’
