Amarpur, Tripura, 13th of February 2026 : With the initiative of Ampi Agri. Subdivision, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, a training on INM cum distribution programme of farmers machinery has been conducted here in conference hall in Ompi Agri. superintendent office in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of farmers from all VCs under Ampi Nagar block have assembled here in the programme venue and took part in the event. In presence of Ampi block BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia and many dignitaries Ampi 41 constituency MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia has inaugurated the programme. As per the report, through the training programme participant farmers were provided all kinds of essential tips and weeders application technical teachings. To make farmers more efficient for advanced cultivation motivational tips were provided for boosting the agricultural production through scientific methods. Subdivision said, “By controlling weeds and enhancing soil conditions, power weeders contribute to improved crop health and yield. Reduced weed competition allows crops to access essential resources more efficiently, leading to increased vigor, uniformity, and yield potential” Through this distribution event 28 local farmers of Ampi block were provided power weeders through subsidized process. After availing the departmental amenities the farmers were found cheerful and enthusiastic.
