New Delhi, Delhi/Agartala, Tripura, 15th of March, 2026 : The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Sunday (15th March, 2026) has announced the date of by-elections for 56–Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency on April 9.
The election commission of India (ECI) said in official statement, the gazette notification regarding the by-election will be published on March 16, 2026 (Monday). The last date for filing nominations is March 23, 2026 (Monday). The scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on March 24, 2026 (Tuesday), while the last date for withdrawal of candidature is March 26, 2026 (Thursday).
Date of Poll on 9th April, 2026 (Thursday). The votes will be counted on 4th May, 2026 (Monday). The entire election process will end on 6th May (Wednesday).
