Amarpur, Tripura, 23rd of March 2026 : The Indian Youth Parliament Programme was successfully held from March 20 to 23, 2026 in Maharashtra Sabhagrih, RSS Headquarters, Dr. Hedgewar Smarak, Resham Bagh, Nagpur.

A total of 24 students from various General Degree Colleges of Tripura represented the Government of Tripura in the prestigious event. The delegation was accompanied by faculty members Dr. Maharani Hrangkhawl (Assistant Professor, GDC Khumulwng), Miss Manju Hrangkhawl (Guest Lecturer, GDC Khumulwng), Dr. Shyamal Das (Assistant Professor, GDC Kabi Nazrul Mahavidyalaya, Sonamura), and Dr. Pradip Dey (Assistant Professor, GDC Gandachara).

The participants actively engaged in parliamentary debates and discussions, showcasing their knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills. The Tripura delegation performed commendably and successfully in the event and represented the state on the national platform.The programme provided valuable exposure to democratic processes and helped students develop communication and critical thinking skills.
