Agartala, Tripura, 28th of July 2025 : With the initiative of Journalists Association of Tripura formed Unakoti District committee on Sunday (27th July, 2025). According to report the Unakoti District Committee of the Journalists Association of Tripura was officially announced at the Bhagat Singh Hall, Gobindpur, Kailashahar, Unakoti District. The Journalists Association of Tripura has always been working tirelessly to achieve the rights and demands of all journalists in Tripura and to protect journalists.
At the event, presents guests and journalists highlighted the different perspectives of journalists while delivering their speeches. Nayeem Uddin has been appointed as the President of the Unakoti district committee of the Journalists Association of Tripura and Zakir Hossain Khan has been appointed as the general secretary.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were, the President of Journalists Association of Tripura Bikram Karmakar, Secretary of Journalists Association of Tripura Mithun Acharjee, eminent social activist and lawyer Sandip Deb Roy, other members of Journalists Association of Tripura and many others remained present in the event.
