Meghalaya, 22nd of December 2023 : With the initiative of Meghalaya Chess Association, 1st Meghalaya International Open Grandmasters Chess Tournament-2023 was held on 13th December to 20th December, 2023 in Meghalaya. The Little Chess master Aaradhya Das of Tripura had won the 3rd prize a Trophy and a cash of Rs. 8000 in under ten category in Group-A. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad Kongkal Sangma, Sports Minister Shakliar Warjri, President of AICF Sanjay Kapoor and many other dignitaries were present in the event.
She took ninth place Under Nine National Girls Chess Championship 2023 held on the last November at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
