Khowai, Tripura, 24th of March 2026 : Ahead of the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections, the nominated candidate of the IPFT party, Swapan Debbarma, submitted his nomination papers on Tuesday (24th March, 2026) at around 1 PM.
He filed his nomination for the Ramchandraghat constituency under TTAADC to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate and Returning Officer of Khowai, Nirmal Kumar Jha.
On this day, a rally was organized by the IPFT party, with party leaders, workers, and supporters marching together to submit the nomination papers.
The programme was led by former MLA of Ramchandraghat Assembly constituency and current Chairman of Padmabil RD Block, Prashanta Debbarma.
Former MLA Prashanta Debbarma expressed hundred percent confidence in the victory of the IPFT party’s nominated candidate from the Ramchandraghat constituency.
It is also reported that the IPFT party’s nominated candidate for the Kolai Asharam Bari constituency will file nomination papers tomorrow.
