Agartala, Tripura, 15th of February, 2025 : The workers demand full wages, their working under the food, civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs department for 20 years at the central store in AD Nagar, Agartala. The workers drew the attention of the administration through the media on Saturday (15th February, 2025) to demand their fair dues.

These workers, who work on a daily basis, complain that their income has become very inadequate in line with the present market price. They said that it has become difficult to run their family with the limited income from daily attendance. Therefore, they have appealed to the administration demanding payment of full monthly attendance wages, including holidays.

According to the workers, despite their long experience and relentless hard work, there is no permanent financial security. Their only request is that the Administration Consider the issue from a humanitarian perspective and take necessary steps quickly. They also said that they had written applications to the concerned departments and the government at various times, informing them of their plight and calling for a speedy solution. But the administration’s departmental departments did not respond well in this regard.
