Amarpur, Tripura, 14th of December 2025 : Twisarangchak YBA regional committee which is a branch of the Young Bru Association of India has celebrated its 1st Foundation Day 2025 here in Ekjan Chara VC under Ampi nagar block in Gomati Tripura with great enthusiasm and spectrum of community display. On this great occasion Bru community people from all over the state have assembled here in the programme venue and participated the event with most interest. In presence of many distinguished programme dignitaries the TRP & PTG minister Mr. Sukla Chanran Noatia has inaugurated the programme.
As per the report, YBA central committee had been formed in 1992 AD but Twisarangchak YBA regional committee has been formed on 13.12.2024. To commemorate the very day the concerned regional committee has conducted this colourful foundation day programme. Sources said, the main objective of the YBA of the Bru community is to uplift the community people, to enrich social infrastructural development, education, economic status and Bru culture. The programme has focussed over the preservation and protection of their community traditional cultural assets, heritage, religious faith, costumes, language and all kinds of traditions achieved from their ancestors. The YBA regional committee of Twisarangchak has constituted the 1st YBA foundation day event with miscellaneous Bru cultural programme segments.
Addressing the Reang community people TRP & PTG minister Sukla Chanran Noatia has said, “The TRP & PTG department is fully dedicated for the welfare of the Bru community in Tripura. As the government has given me the Bru community development responsibility I will try my best to prosper Reang community by providing all kinds of departmental amenities in the state.” He has instructed the community people to be sensitive over their essential government documents through which they can have various government facilities from the TRP & PTG departmental provisions.
Amidst the main dignitaries there were Pathan Lal Jamatia, Ampi 41 constituency MLA, Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, Ampi block BAC chairman, Sadagar Kalai, Ampi 23 constituency MDC, John Molsoi, CEC president, Kathak Reang, YBA Twisarangchak regional committee president and many others remained present in the programme.
