New Delhi, March 30, 2026: Yoda Diagnostics hosted the Yoda Early Mind Summit, a Continuing Medical Education (CME) event, marking its entry into the Delhi healthcare ecosystem and bringing early autism detection into sharper clinical focus.

The summit brought together leading doctors, paediatric specialists, and researchers from across northern India, including Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, to discuss advancements in the early detection and management of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
The summit was conducted under the leadership of Mr. Ravi Rajeshekara Rao, Director, Yoda Diagnostics and Ms. Aditi Ohri, Founding Member – Strategy, Mr. Yoda in association with Dr. Deepak Gupta, Senior Consultant – Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and Founder & Director of the Centre for Child and Adolescent Well-being (CCAW).
Sharing his clinical perspective on early intervention, Dr. Deepak Gupta stated, “Over nearly two decades of my clinical practice, I have had the opportunity to work closely with children and families. One of the most important insights has been that early identification can significantly improve outcomes in children with autism. The first 1000 days are especially critical, and greater awareness among parents during this period can make a meaningful difference. I believe platforms like this summit can help enable that awareness in a more structured and impactful way.”

Speaking on the intent behind the initiative, Ms. Aditi Ohri said, “Over the past few years, Yoda Diagnostics has worked closely with clinicians and healthcare partners across southern India, building meaningful impact across multiple cities. As we now expand into North India, we are seeing a growing need for structured awareness and early diagnostic support, especially with the rising identification of autism cases across northern states. Our focus is to bring the same depth of clinical insight and accessibility to this region, enabling earlier detection, clearer understanding, and more informed care pathways for both doctors and families.”
The event featured expert sessions, case discussions, and a panel with Dr. Manushree Gupta, Dr. Puja Kapoor, Dr. Nabanita Sengupta, and Dr. Priyanka Kalra and Dr. Himani Narula Khanna, Dr. Praveen Kumar and Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jain, focusing on improving early diagnosis and timely intervention.
The discussions explored how emerging biological insights are shaping a more nuanced understanding of autism. Experts spoke about factors such as methylation imbalances and cerebral folate deficiency, along with evolving diagnostic methods in clinical practice. These conversations also highlighted how integrating such insights into routine care can support earlier identification and more personalised intervention pathways for both children and their parents.
A key highlight of the summit was the introduction of the Folate Receptor Antibody Test (FRAT), an emerging diagnostic tool that may help doctors better identify certain underlying biological conditions linked to autism and enable more personalised care pathways.
Sharing her perspective on the evolving landscape of autism diagnosis and care, Dr. Puja Kapoor highlighted, “Autism care is increasingly becoming more proactive, with awareness and tools like the FRAT test that help by offering valuable insights for pregnant women who already have a child on the spectrum, as well as for children showing early signs. Even when concerns are identified a bit later, I believe it is never too late to act, as timely intervention can still make a meaningful difference in outcomes.”

The summit reinforced the growing importance of early detection, clinical awareness, and collaborative care in improving outcomes for children with autism and developmental conditions.
