Agartala, Tripura, 16th of August 2025 : Aiming to generate aware over the deadly consequence of drugs utility 124 battalion CRPF is found in great promptness to save the youngsters from drugs addiction. Playing its part in the Nation wide fight against Drug abuse, 124 battalion CRPF today organized a Bike rally in support of Drug Awareness Campaign. The rally started from HQ 124, Salbagan wherein more than forty motorcyclists have participated with enthusiasm. Led by Shri Ravish Kumar, Commandant, the rally crisscrosses through various localities around Salbagan, Gandhigram, Usha Bazar, Nutan Nagar, spreading the message of the dangers of Drugs and its menace. During his interaction with the rallyists, Shri Ravish Kumar briefed that the threat from Drug and its adversarial impact upon the society is a modern day danger.
Specially, in the context of Tripura, due to its proximity to international border and large scale smuggling of illicit drugs, each and every member of the society needs to be aware of real time danger. It is also the duty of every member of the Force to not only be aware but also keep oneself away from any type of drugs or intoxicants. In spite of the weather hurdle in the form of drizzling rain, the rally successfully completed its course as each member return back to base with firmer commitment and further the cause of Nation wide fight against Drug.
