Amarpur, Tripura, 1st of November 2025 : With the generous initiative of 124 Bn CRPF free computer course centre has been initiated. As part the report, A three months Basic Computer Course for school children was inaugurated today by Shri Akhilesh Kumar Singh, Second in Command, 124 CRPF at the Computer Point, Progati Road, Agartala.

Contributing its part in spreading computer literacy and modern life skills 124 CRPF has organized the course at free of cost under the Civic Action Program. This skill development project will benefit 25 students of Pragati Vidya Bhawan School, Agartala. During his exhortation, Shri Singh highlighted the fact that knowledge of basic computer has become a part of modern life and encourages the attendees to take full advantage of the course so that by the end of the course, they are thorough with basic functions and utility of computers. The event was attended by Dhananjay Bhattacharjee, Administrator, The Computer Point as well as Tapas Kumar from Pragati Vidya Bhawan School and many others. The school authority has applauded this philanthropic initiative and thanked the concerned battalion officials for their good job.
