Agartala, Tripura, 14th June, 2025 : With the initiative of Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya is celebrated 13th Foundation Day at Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya campus, Mohanpur, Agartala, Tripura on (14th June, 2025). To Marks on 13th Foundation Day Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya also organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp today. In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.
Addressing at the occasion, Hon’ble Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that Students should be human beings. People from different sections of the society should be drawn closer with love. This world belongs to all of us. We have to move forward with everyone. Along with the studies of the students, we should also keep abreast of the news of the state and the country. Those who are sitting in the classroom today are our future. There should be healthy competition among the students in all subjects. This will benefit the society.
Highlighting the occasion, Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Minister remarked, every child is born with different potentials. It is the responsibility of teachers to develop this talent in them. The Agriculture Minister said, students will have to move forward by facing the challenges of the 21st century. At present, India has more than 35 crore youth. We have to become self-reliant in various matters based on this. The Prime Minister of India wants us to be self-reliant in all aspects. Students have a big role to play in achieving this goal. On World Blood Donor Day, he greeted all blood donors and urged everyone to come forward to donate blood more voluntarily.
Students of Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya presented attractive cultural programmes like dance, song, music to beautify the ceremony. According to the information received, total of 22 blood donors donated blood in the camp.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries participants there Vice-Chairman of Mohanpur Municipal Council Chairman Shankar Deb, Principal of Swami Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya Dr. Haradhan Saha, Social activist Kartik Acharjee, teachers, students, officials and many other distinguished dignitaries were present in the ceremony.
