Amarpur, Tripura, 11th of November 2025 : With the initiative of Ampi block congress committee an organisational programme has been conducted here in Ampinagar in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion several distinguished Congress leaders of the state as well as local people of different places have assembled here in the programme venue.
As per the report, aiming to fortify the Congress organization ahead Ampi block Congress committee has inaugurated a new Congress party office in Ampi market area. In presence of many Congress dignitaries this new party office has been inaugurated by the Congress state president Asish Kumar Saha. Sources said, through this programme 153 new faces from 42 families have come under the banner of Congress organization today. The state president Asish Kumar Saha has welcomed these new comers with warm greetings and included them into the organization.
Addressing the gathering Mr. Saha said, “Congress is the oldest national political party of India and that why it has an ideal principles and neutral vision for all communities and religions of the country. We trust over peace, prosperity, communal harmony and development. There is no any discrimination over religion or other social status in Congress organization. To create a peaceful and progressive administration Congress party is a dedicated national organization; to abolish the public exploitation administrative mechanism we have to generate a healthy democratic administration in the state where your support and cooperation is required right now.”
Amidst the other distinguished participants there were Sudip Roy Barman, MLA of 6 Agartala constituency, Shabda Kumar Jamatia, G.S Pradesh Congress, Pintu Debbarma, Ampi nagar block committee president and many others remained present in the programme.
