Agartala, 24th of February 2024 : On the fourth day of the book fair, 41 books of local Niharika Publishers were published today. The books were published by Former Hon’ble Chief Justice of Orissa High Court Subhasis Talapatra, Advocate General Siddharth Shankar Dey, Editor of Ajker Fariad Shanit Debroy, Pratyush Ranjan Deb, Partha Ghosh and Literary Nandita Dutta. In the evening, the artists of Sepahijala district performed classical music, dance, dance Lebang Bumani on the Maharaja Bir Bikram Stage in the book fair premises. Shubashish Chakraborty conducted the cultural programme.
A discussion titled ‘AIDS and Youth Drug Free’ was held today at the book fair premises. Eminent doctor Udayan Majumdar, Subrata Chakraborty, joint director of AIDS Control Society Subhrajit Bhattacharjee and Social Activist Mallyaban Chakraborty participated in the discussion.
