50 Year-Old Woman Along With Domestic Animal Died After A Dilapidated House Collapsed Due To Heavy Rain At Kalyanpur.

A 50 year-old woman along with domestic animal died after a dilapidated of a house collapsed on him following rains overnight. Meanwhile, woman died after a dilapidated of a house collapsed, Priyanka Das, the in-charge doctor at Kalyanpur Hospital, the dead body to the family members without an autopsy due to unknown reasons.

According to the details of the incident, Sabitri Sarkar, wife of Murari Sarkar of Police Para village under Ghilatali Village Panchayat under Kalyanpur Police station on Wednesday (5th July, 2023) , was sleeping in her house when the mud wall of her living room completely collapsed. About a two of hours after the incident, the relatives of the family came to know about the matter, as soon as the morning, the doctor in charge, Priyanka Das, declared him dead and handed over the body to the relatives. MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury took to the field when there was a wide question about how Priyanka Das handed over the body to the family members without post-mortem. Finally, the hospital authorities were forced to conduct an autopsy after the MLA’s insistence. MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury along with Chairman of Panchayat Samiti Soumen Gope,and other administrative senior officials  attended the spot and expressed grief and promised to provide all administrative assistance in the coming days. A shade of grief has prevailed in entire area over this unexpected incident.
