Under the able guidance of Sh. Subrat Kumar Mishra, IGP Tripura Sector, Inter GC/BN(OPS) weightlifting competition among 71 Bn, 124 B 140 Bn, 225 Bn CRPF and GC Agartala was organized by 71 Bn CRPF at Hqr Khumulwng from 15th May, 2023 to 17th May, 2023. The closing of the competition was celebrated on 17th May, 2023 in a befitting manner. During the closing ceremony Sh. Ram Palat, Commandant-71 Bn CRPF addressed. All the participating teams and praised all the players for maintaining a healthy and competitive spirit in sports during the whole event. Sh Ram Palat, Commandant awarded Medals to the players for their performance in different weight categories.
The competition comprises of 04 events in different weight category. Sh. Paresh Debbarma (Referee) was hired for maintaining the rules of the competition free and fair for all. 71 Bn CRPF took the winner trophy and 124 Bn stood runner up. During the closing ceremony Sh. KK Mukhopadhya, 2 1/C, Sh. B S Shukla, DC, Sh. Yogesh Kumar, DC, Dr. Uma Shankar Sai, MO, and unit personnel of all rank and file were present enjoyed the competition with great enthusiasm.
