99 Voters Joined Congress In Ampi.       

Amarpur, Tripura, 2nd of March 2026 : With the initiative of Ampi block Congress unit an organizational programme has been conducted here in Mandwi Kami under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion Ampi block Congress leaders and local indigenous villagers have assembled here in the programme venue. As per the report, quitting other parties 99 voters have come under the banner of National Congress through this programme. The block president Pintu Debbarma has accepted these new faces with warm greetings and included them into the organization.

Addressing the gathering Sobdha Kumar Jamatia, Congress Adivasi president said, “The Congress party is the oldest and genuine universal political organization where all castes, communities and religions are equal in status. Congress had brought the freedom of India and till today it is serving the nation.” Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Duratta Mohan Jamatia, district president, Sanjib Kalai and many local leaders remained present in the programme.
