Woman Falls Ill In Court Premises, Promptly Rescued By Fire & Emergency Services.

Dharmanagar, Tripura, 17th of February, 2026 : A 60- year- old woman was seriously injured after suddenly falling ill inside the premises of the Dharmanagar Sub -Divisional Court. Personnel from the Tripura Fire and Emergency Service responded swiftly and rushed her to the district hospital for treatment.According to fire service sources, at around 10:30 a.m. on February 17, a call was received from the court premises informing that a woman had suddenly fallen ill and sustained a head injury after collapsing. A rescue team immediately reached the spot and began emergency assistance.

Preliminary information suggests that the woman had come to the court for personal work. She reportedly became unwell all of a sudden, collapsed on the ground, and suffered a serious head injury. People present at the scene promptly informed the fire department.The injured woman was rescued and taken to Dharmanagar District Hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment. She has been identified as Salma Begum (60), a resident of Krishnapur Dupir Bonad area under Dharmanagar subdivision. Doctors are closely monitoring her condition.
