Agartala, Tripura, 17th of February 2026 : Embarking on a series of community upliftment endeavor’s, the 124 BN, CRPF organized distribution of Computer Certificates to 25 successful participanted students who completed 03-month Computer training course (w.e.f 01/11/2025 to 31/01/2026) at The computer Point, Durga Chowmoni, Pragati Road, Agartala, Tripura under the aegis of Civic Action Program conducted A & F/124 BN location, Old Pragati School, Agartala on 16/02/2026.

The course covered topics such as Computer Organization and system designing, Operating System (Windows), Office Tools & Digital Technology with networking system and security aimed to promoting digital literacy amongst local youth. The event was graced by Sh. Ravish Kumar, Commandant 124 BN, CRPF in the presence of Sh. Akhilesh Kumar Singh, 2-I/C, 124 BN CRPF and other officials along with Sh. Namit Pathak (IPS), SP, Tripura West, Sh. Dhruba Nath, Addl. SP, West Tripura, Mr. Abhishek Dutta (Councilor 18 No Ward Agartala) and Mrs Anwesha Debbarma (Head Mistress) of Old Pragati H.S School.

Highlighting the event, Sh. Ravish Kumar, Commandant 124 BN, CRPF has congratulated the students and encouraged them to utilize their newly acquired skill for better employment opportunities. The initiative reflects the commitment towards community development and strengthening relation and bonding between civil and security force”. He added. He further emphasized that, the CRPF has consistently stood as a pillar of stability and security, striving to strengthen trust, understanding and mutual respect with every community in the region, supporting local needs and fostering goodwill between the CRPF and the local population.
