Dharmanagar, Tripura, 11th of March, 2026 : With the upcoming by-election of the Dharmanagar Assembly constituency approaching, Left Front–nominated candidate Amitabh Dutta has begun his campaign across different parts of the constituency. On Wednesday morning, he started the outreach program along with party workers and supporters, organizing rallies and conducting door-to-door campaigns in several areas.From early morning, Amitabh Dutta along with party activists visited households in the Shamshan Kali Bari area of Dharmanagar and interacted with local residents. Later in the afternoon, the campaign moved to the Sakaibari area.
As Amitabh Dutta arrived at Sakaibari market, workers and supporters welcomed him warmly by presenting a traditional Risa and bouquets of flowers. The entire area echoed with slogans as supporters expressed their enthusiasm. A significant public response was noticed throughout the day’s campaign.During the outreach, many local residents shared their problems and hardships of the past few years with the candidate. Amitabh Dutta listened attentively and said, “Only you can bring about a change in this situation.”A large number of party workers and supporters accompanied the candidate during the day’s campaign. The Left Front stated that the campaign will be intensified in various areas in the coming days.
