Maharashtra Set To Become A Global Healthcare Hub.

Mumbai, Maharashtra, 29th of March 2026 : The PULSE 2026 summit, held in Mumbai, has emerged as a Decisive step towards transforming Maharashtra into a global hub for healthcare and recovery. Inaugurating the two-day summit, Devendra Fadnavis emphasized that the state’s vision goes beyond providing healthcare services—it aims to position the sector as a strong pillar of innovation, investment, and economic growth.

“We are not just inaugurating a conference today, but setting the direction for healthcare development in the coming decade,” he stated. Fadnavis highlighted the government’s strategy to ensure that affordable and quality healthcare services are accessible within a 5 to 8 km radius for every citizen.

The summit featured in-depth discussions on digital health, artificial intelligence, clinical innovation, and medical education. Sunetra Pawar underscored the importance of technology and inclusive growth, stating that “PULSE 2026 is a platform that paves the way for delivering better healthcare to every citizen through innovation and collaboration.”

Meanwhile, Hasan Mushrif and Madhuri Misal emphasized strengthening medical education, infrastructure, and promoting medical tourism as key drivers of growth.

By bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and academicians on a single platform, PULSE 2026 not only accelerated meaningful dialogue but also laid a strong foundation for positioning Maharashtra as a leader in healthcare transformation.
