Amarpur, Tripura, 23rd of April 2026 : On 23rd of April 2026, An awareness programme on Balance use of fertilizers and soil health management was conducted at SB Mura under Killa RD Block with 67 nos. of farmers and farm women. The above programme is to minimize and sensitize farmers against excessi ve and imbalance use of urea and DAP that leads to nutrient imbalance in the soil, deterioration in long term soil fertility.
The above programme was attended by Senior scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Gomati Sri Randa dhir Sharma, and Subject Matter specialist (Agril. Extension) Dr. Binoy Tripura. In this programme participants were sensitize on various topics such as organic farming, natural farming, green manuring, vermin composting soil health card and their importance to keep soil healthy and crop production in sustainable manner.
