Agartala, Tripura, 14th of May 2026 : With the initiative of School Education Department Government of Tripura, Offer Distribution Programme has been organized at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala, Tripura on Thursday (14th May, 2026). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

Distribution programme of offer of appointment among the qualified candidates selected for the Post Graduate Teachers, through Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT).
Addressing at the event Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that teachers should act with a sense of responsibility and open the doors of knowledge for students through effective teaching.
He said that it should be remembered that if students achieve good results in exams and become responsible human beings, it will be a matter of pride for teachers, as teachers are responsible for shaping the next generation. In addition to quality teaching along with textbooks in line with the times, emphasis should be placed on the use of technology in teaching.

Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha said this at a function for distributing appointment letters to Post graduate Teachers, organized by the School Education Department at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan today.
Today, 865 postgraduates were given appointment letters for teaching posts. The Chief Minister officially handed over appointment letters to 34 people.
He said at the function that the state government is trying to fill vacancies in various departments quickly.

“Besides, by creating new posts in various departments, educated unemployed people are being given jobs with transparency. Currently, no one needs to bring recommendations for jobs. Jobs are being given according to qualifications. The educated unemployed youth of the state are getting the results of their talent and hard work. The government has also adopted a transparent policy in job appointments. Just as the state government is developing various infrastructures with transparency and proper planning, it is also continuing the recruitment process,” he said.
Dr. Saha said that the government wants to win the hearts of the people of the state by working with transparency.

“Teachers should understand the mentality of students, build a good relationship with them, and teach them effectively. Along with this, a good environment should also be created in educational institutions. One of the goals of the state government is the expansion of quality education. The government has been recruiting teachers in the schools of the state along with developing various infrastructure in the field of education,” he said.
Dr. Saha said that since 2018, a total of 7,104 teachers have been recruited under the School Education Department. Through a transparent recruitment process, a total of 21,825 educated unemployed youth have been given jobs in other departments, including education, in the state since 2018.

In addition, 24,078 people have been appointed on a contractual and outsourcing basis.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Secretary of the School Education Department Dr. Milind Dharmrao Ramteke, Rajib Datta, Director of the School Education Department, S.C.E.R.T. Director L. Darlong and others were present.
