Dharmanagar, Tripura, 5th of June 2026 : On the occasion of World Environment Day, a tree plantation programme was organized by Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Dharmanagar, with the objective of promoting environmental conservation and spreading the message of greenery among people from all walks of life.

The programme was attended by BK Mamoni, in-charge of the Dharmanagar branch of the institution, along with several brothers and sisters associated with the organization. As part of the initiative, saplings of various fruit-bearing, medicinal, and shade-giving trees were planted.Speaking on the occasion, participants highlighted the importance of trees in protecting the environment and maintaining ecological balance. They emphasized that tree plantation is one of the most effective ways to combat climate change and air pollution. Everyone was urged to plant at least one tree and take responsibility for its care and maintenance.
Representatives of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya stated that, besides imparting spiritual education, the institution regularly conducts various social welfare and environmental awareness programmes.
The World Environment Day plantation drive was another step in that direction.Participants also pledged to work collectively for environmental protection and expressed their commitment to continuing such awareness initiatives in the future. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and reflected a strong sense of responsibility toward creating a greener and healthier environment
