CA Manish Mishra Appointed To PIOCCI Trade & Investment Committee; To Strengthen ASEAN Trade, Global Diaspora.

New Delhi, Delhi, 13th of June, 2026 : In a significant move aimed at strengthening international trade facilitation and diaspora-led economic engagement, CA Mr. Manish Mishra has been appointed as a Member of the Trade & Investment Committee at PIOCCI (People of Indian Origin Chamber of Commerce & Industry). He will lead efforts in Advocacy & Facilitation of Trade and Investment between ASEAN countries and the rest of the world, with a special focus on Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) settled across regions worldwide.

Based in Delhi-NCR, Mr. Manish Mishra will also spearhead LinkedIn and social media initiatives for the organization, helping to amplify PIOCCI’s global outreach, trade collaborations, and engagement with the Indian diaspora business ecosystem.

The appointment comes as part of PIOCCI’s larger strategic vision to strengthen international trade, investments, MSME partnerships, policy dialogue, and digital engagement among Indian-origin entrepreneurs and professionals worldwide.

Welcoming the development, PIOCCI stated that Mr. Manish Mishra’s leadership and expertise are expected to play a key role in expanding trade and investment opportunities within ASEAN nations while building stronger bridges between global Indian businesses and emerging economic ecosystems.

As part of his responsibilities, Mr. Mishra will focus on facilitating trade advocacy, strengthening investment partnerships, and enhancing institutional engagement with overseas Indian business communities, particularly in ASEAN markets. His role is expected to contribute significantly toward improving business connectivity and strategic collaboration between India and international markets.

Under the organization’s “Global Connect – Facilitation for International Trade & Investments” initiative, PIOCCI has entrusted regional responsibilities to experienced professionals across key geographies. These include Mr. Rakesh Malhotra (Chicago, USA) and Mr. Ashutosh Jha (Los Angeles, USA) for the United States, Mr. Balaji RajaGopal (Canada) for Canada, Mr. Sanjay Sharma (Bulgaria/India) for Eastern Europe, Mr. Manoj Motwani (Hong Kong) for Hong Kong and China, Mr. Aadhar Gupta (India) for Africa, and Mr. Manish Mishra (India) for ASEAN countries.

Under “MSME India Connect – Facilitation for MSME International Trade & Investments,” the organization has designated sector-focused leadership to strengthen MSME-led trade ecosystems, technology adoption, and capital facilitation.

PIOCCI has also strengthened its institutional framework through dedicated focus areas such as technology and digital transformation, led by Dr. Kirti Sharma, and strategic policy interface and embassy coordination, led by Mr. Amit Gupta and Mr. Prasenjit Singh, focusing on bilateral engagement and international trade policy alignment.

With increasing focus on global economic collaboration and diaspora-led business ecosystems, PIOCCI’s leadership appointments are expected to accelerate international partnerships and position Indian-origin enterprises as a stronger force in global trade and investments.
