Agartala, Tripura, 15th of June 2026 : On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, BSF Tripura Frontier organised a voluntary blood donation camp at Frontier Headquarters, Salbagan, Agartala, to promote voluntary blood donation.
The programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Princee Rani, Inspector General, BSF Tripura Frontier, by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
Observed under the slogan “One Drop of Humanity – Give Blood, Save Lives,” the camp was organised by CAPF Composite Hospital, Agartala, in collaboration with the Blood Bank Department of AGMC & GB Pant Hospital, Agartala.
Dr. Prashant Kumar Goyal, IAS, Secretary, Finance and PWD , Government of Tripura, graced the occasion. Officers, subordinate officers, and jawans of BSF enthusiastically participated in the drive and donated ___ units of blood for patients in need.
Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries emphasised the importance of regular voluntary blood donation and appreciated the selfless contribution of donors in saving precious lives. The event reiterates BSF’s commitment to such socially relevant causes.
