Agartala, Tripura, 18th of June 2026 : With the jointly initiative of Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) and Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd Mega Credit Delivery programme organized at Nazrul Kalakshetra, Agartala, Tripura on Wednesday (17th June, 2026).

In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank, Shri Satyendra Singh inaugurated the event.
A Mega Credit Delivery, and Vehicle Key Handover Ceremony was held in Agartala today under the joint initiative of Tripura Gramin Bank and Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., with the aim of strengthening the rural economy, fostering self-reliance, and expanding financial inclusion. The event facilitated the distribution of loans, sanction letters, and vehicle keys to beneficiaries, enabling them to pursue sustainable livelihood opportunities.
According to report, during the programme, sanction letters and vehicle keys were handed over to a total of 13 borrowers, covering loans worth ₹2.43 crore. The financial assistance is expected to help the beneficiaries become self-reliant while creating new avenues for income generation and sustainable livelihoods.

Addressing at the event Chairman of the Tripura Gramin Bank Shri Satyendra Singh stated that Tripura Gramin Bank has consistently played a leading role in the socio-economic development of the state by promoting financial empowerment, generating employment opportunities, and providing easy access to credit facilities for the common people. He emphasized that such initiatives not only strengthen rural entrepreneurship but also contribute significantly to building a self-reliant and financially inclusive society.
Chairman of the Tripura Gramin Bank also added that the largest banking network in the State, is providing uninterrupted banking services to more than 2.1 million active customers through its extensive network of 150 branches and 13 Ultra Small Branches across Tripura.
Highlighting the occasion, Chairman of the Tripura Gramin Bank remarked that this initiative goes beyond merely disbursing loans; it has opened up new avenues of employment, financial independence, and economic growth for the youth of the state. By empowering beneficiaries with access to credit and livelihood opportunities, the programme marks a significant step towards sustainable development and self-reliance in Tripura.

Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Marketing Officer of TGB, Shri Jeet Bhattacharjee, other senior officials of the bank, and representatives of Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., including Mr. Samit Daw, Retail & Channel Finance (East); Mr. Amit Singh, Institutional Sales officer; and Mr. Pritam Das, Dealer Principal of S.R. Motors were present at the event.
