1. Jio / Digital Services

Scale & Financial Performance

  • Jio completes 10 years of stellar success, becoming the primary enabler of India’s digital and AI revolution. In both scale and profitability, Jio remains the unbeatable Number One.
  • Jio user base crossed 524 million, cementing its No. 1 position. 5G subscriber base crossed 268 million – the largest for any single-country operator outside China, with 77 million net additions during the year.
  • Total data traffic on Jio’s network in FY26: 241 exabytes, growing 30.8% year-on-year, placing Jio among the largest data operators on the planet.
  • Jio Platforms FY26: Revenue Rs 1,46,885 crore (up 14.6% YoY); EBITDA Rs 76,255 crore (up 18.8%, margin 51.9%);Profit After Taxcrossed Rs 30,000 crore for the first time in Jio’s history (up 15.1% YoY).

Jio’s IPO

Jio’s AI Adoption

  • Now, Jio is preparing for its next big mission,” said Mukesh Ambani– movingfrom digital connectivity to AI-first services.
  • Jio Call Agent (Native AI Voice): AI built directly into the Jio network – no app to download. Say ‘Hey Jio’ and your AI agent joins the call. Capabilities: transcribe calls (up to 10 unique speakers), summarise action items, and act on requests (order food, book a cab, set up meetings). Launching for Jio’s 500 million-plus familylater this year.
  • MyJio (over 600 million users) is being transformed into a personalised Jio AI advisor and relationship manager– agentic, voice-first, multilingual, privacy-first. “You no longer navigate MyJio. You say what you need, and MyJio starts working.”
  • Jio TeleFrame announced – “your AI operating system for the home”: a family of Jio agents for the day, care, guests, entertainment, shopping, and the connected home – aware of family routines, in every Indian language, always with permission.
  • At Jio, AI-native network management is already driving efficiency and quality at scale.
  • “Just as Jio made data extremely affordable for every Indian, Reliance Intelligence will disrupt AI economics by making it dramatically more affordable for every Indian by the end of this decade,” said Akash Ambani.

Jio’s Five Commitments for the Next Decade

  • First: Make Jio True 5G the foundation of India’s next big digital leap. Target: migrate all subscribers to 5G by 2030 while advancing India’s leadership in 6G standards.
  • Second: Take high-speed home broadband to every part of India through JioAirFiber.
  • Third: Digitise Indian enterprises and small businesses via JioPC – delivering cloud compute through a simple Set-Top-Box, bringing enterprise-grade technology within reach of every MSME.
  • Fourth: Ensure AI for everyone, everywhere. Jio is embedding AI in consumer technology to deliver a smoother, smarter, and more personalised user experience.
  • Fifth: Take India’s technology to the world. Satellite Communications

  • Jio is evaluating the development of a sovereign Low Earth Orbit satellite constellation for India, while also leasing capacity from leading global constellation providers.
  • Jio is building its own ground station infrastructure in India to support partner constellations and its own future satellites – creating an end-to-end satellite broadband ecosystem from space to ground.
  • This initiative strengthens India’s atma nirbharta in space, placing India firmly on the global satellite broadband services map.

2. Reliance Intelligence

Vision & Infrastructure

  • Mukesh Ambani: “I firmly believe that India should not be a mere consumer of AI created elsewhere.It must become a creator, adopter, and global leader in AI.”
  • Reliance Intelligence announced as Reliance’s newest growth engine. Objective: build a profitable AI infrastructure, platform, and services business serving consumers, enterprises, and governments at scale.
  • Reliance Intelligence is building India’s sovereign AI backbone in Jamnagar, powered entirely by clean energy from Reliance’s own solar generation from the Kutch renewable platform.
  • First 120 MW to be commissioned by end of 2026, with capacity equivalent to more than 75,000 H100 GPUs on an AI-inference basis. At full 120 MW, capacity scales to over 2 lakh H100-equivalent GPUs– placingReliance among the largest AI infrastructure platforms being built anywhere in the world.

National Energy Security

7. Oil-to-Chemicals (O2C)

Financial Performance & Resilience

  • O2C FY26: Revenue grew 5.7% to Rs 6,62,401 crore; EBITDA grew 10.1% to Rs 60,546 crore.
  • When the Strait of Hormuz was disrupted in March 2026, diversified sourcing and agile logistics sustained near-full refinery throughput in Q4. Reliance increased LPG supply four-fold to help the nation tide over the import disruption.
  • Anant Ambani: “This is the structural advantage of building the world’s most integrated, most flexible, most resilient refining and chemicals complex.”

Major Capital Projects

Jio-bp Fuel Retail

  • Jio-bp petrol and diesel volumes grew 29% YoY, significantly outpacing industry growth. Retail network: nearly 2,200 outlets, with 400 under construction.
  • EV charging expanded to 80 cities and 45 highways. CBG and CNG network covers 177 sites with volumes growing 68% YoY – making Jio-bp the largest player in the country.

Long-Term Transformation

  • The O2C business is on the path to achieve carbon-neutral operations at least two decades before India’s 2070 target.
  • Mukesh Ambani: “In the long run, we will convert all the oil we refine into chemicals and new materials. Our ambition is to make Reliance the world’s leading integrated Energy and Materials company for the age of sustainability and intelligence.”

  • The Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex at Jamnagar, spread over 5,000 acres, is now one of the world’s most integrated clean energy manufacturing ecosystems. FY26 moved this mission from construction to commissioning.
  • Solar PV manufacturing: nearly 1 GW of HJT modules produced, with ~2% higher energy yield, 15% better temperature performance, and 25% lower degradation than conventional modules.
  • Achieved ALMM listing for HJT technology – the first in India for this advanced cell type. Anant Ambani: “This is a proud affirmation of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s clarion call for ‘Make in India’.”
  • Building towards 20 GW per annum of fully integrated capacity – from polysilicon to ingots, wafers, cells, modules, and glass. “Every step in this chain is a step towards ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’,”said Anant Ambani.

Battery Storage (BESS)

  • First phase of 40 GWh annual BESS and Cell Giga Factory on track to be commissioned this year. Now committed to scale up to 120 GWh of annual capacity – making Reliance one of the world’s largest manufacturers of lithium iron phosphate batteries.
  • Anant Ambani: In a world where supply chains are being contested and access to technology is being weaponised, building world-scale battery manufacturing capacity in India is not merely a business decision. It is a strategic imperative for national resilience.”

Kutch Renewable Energy Hub

Biogas & UCG

  • Reliance contributes over 40% of India’s entire CBG production. On track for 55 plants, producing ~1,100 tonnes per day by end of FY27. Five-year target: 1 million tonnes of annual CBG capacity.
  • Underground Coal Gasification (UCG): converting India’s uneconomic and low-quality coal reserves into clean syngas, substituting imported LNG and adding to the low-carbon energy pool.

Financial Outlook & Jobs

  • From FY27, New Energy will begin contributing meaningfully to Reliance’s financial performance. Commercial revenues from solar modules start rolling in this year; battery factory commissions this year; Samsung C&T agreement is a signed contract, not a promise.
