Mega Blood Donation Camp Organized By Ward No-39, AMC.

Agartala, Tripura, 21st of June 2026 : With the initiative of Ward No-39, AMC organized Mega Blood Donation Camp at Community Hall of Ward No- 39, AMC, Agartala, Tripura on Sunday (21st June, 2026).

In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial Lamp.

Addressing at the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that Blood has no caste, no religion or race. Blood reminds us that we all are same. Hence voluntary blood donation is a prime means to serve the humanity. Blood donation is a noble act to save life. This act evolves human values and generates the spirit of service in human beings. That is why we have to encourage more people to donate blood.

The Chief Minister said, now voluntary blood donation has become a social movement in the state. Blood is a very important component to save the life of a critical patient. As such ensuring availability of blood in the blood banks is a vital question to address and only voluntary blood donation can solve this.

“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tripura and other North-Eastern states are moving fast ahead on the path of development. Keeping the thought ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Biswas and Sabka Prayas’ alive, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading the country towards a more developed future. Through development works only a holistic transformation is being noticed among the people of the state as well. With the support and cooperation of all a new Tripura could be built.”, Chief Minister added.

Addressing the event Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder said blood donation is one of our social duties and responsibilities. Blood donation is above all other kinds. Voluntary blood donation in Tripura has turned into a social movement now.

Welcome address was delivered by Corporator of AMC ward no. 39 Alak Roy. Among other present there were social activist Asim Bhattacharya, Shyamal Kumar Deb and many other distinguished  dignitaries were present in the event. The Chief Minister visited the blood donation camp and encouraged the donors.
