Mumbai, Maharashtra, 1st of July, 2026 : The 19th edition of HGH India was inaugurated with great fanfare at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, NESCO, Mumbai. Scheduled from June 30 to July 3, the prestigious trade show brings together more than 700 Indian and international brands showcasing their latest innovations in home textiles, home décor, houseware, and gifts. The event is expected to attract over 50,000 trade buyers from across India and overseas.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Ms. Vrinda Manohar Desai (IRS), Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Mr. Walter Ferrara, Consul General of Italy; Mr. Vikas Pansare (IAS), Managing Director, MSSIDC; ID Ketan Seth, Chairman, IIID MRC; Ar. Reza Kabul, President & Principal Architect, ARK Reza Kabul Architects; Ar. Rajeev Kasat, Principal Architect, Rajeev Kasat & Associates; and Ar. Makarand Pataskar, Principal Architect, Makarand Pataskar Architects. The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Arun Roongta, Managing Director, Texzone Information Services Pvt. Ltd., and Dr. Geert Botger, Director, Expo + Consulting Associates Ltd.

Speaking at the event, industry leaders emphasized that design, innovation, and sustainability will shape the future of the home and lifestyle sector. They highlighted India’s growing potential to become a global hub for the home and lifestyle industry. The 19th edition of HGH India has emerged as a significant platform for fostering new business opportunities, industry collaborations, and international partnerships.
