Dharmanagar, Tripura, 15th of July 2026 : Members of the Dharmanagar Oil Tanker Drivers’ Association have stepped forward to provide financial assistance for the treatment of Manashree, a young girl from Tripura suffering from a rare disease. Demonstrating remarkable compassion, the drivers voluntarily collected donations and transferred the funds to the bank account designated for her medical treatment.

According to the association, a donation box had been circulated among drivers over the past few days to encourage contributions. In addition, many drivers took advantage of digital payment facilities by scanning a QR code and making direct online donations to Manashree’s treatment fund.On Wednesday, in the presence of association members, the donation box was opened in Dharmanagar. After counting the cash collected, the entire amount was immediately deposited into the bank account designated for Manashree’s medical expenses, the association confirmed.
The drivers also offered prayers for Manashree’s speedy recovery. They expressed the belief that if every member of society contributes according to their ability, children battling serious illnesses like Manashree’s can receive the financial support they desperately need for treatment.
The humanitarian initiative undertaken by the Dharmanagar Oil Tanker Drivers’ Association has been widely appreciated by the local community. Many believe that such collective efforts during times of crisis set a shining example of compassion, solidarity, and social responsibility
