Khowai, Tripura, 18th of July 2026 : Khowai Police have recovered gold ornaments worth approximately ₹5 lakh that were stolen from a residence in the district. According to reports, the jewellery was stolen from the house of Shubha Priya Das, a resident of the Ganki area in Khowai.
The stolen gold ornaments, estimated to be worth around ₹5 lakh, were recovered following quick action by Khowai Police after the complaint was filed.
Interacting with the media Officer-in-Charge (OC) Khowai Police Station Krishnadhan Sarkar said that the police are conducting a detailed inquiry into the incident and further action will be taken based on the findings.
