Agartala, Tripura, 4th of August, 2026 : Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu has expressed deep grief over the demise of former Governor of Tripura D.Y. Patil. In a condolence message Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu said, D.Y. Patill will be remembered as a distinguished public servant who discharged his Constitutional responsibilities with dignity, wisdom and an unwavering commitment to democratic values. During his tenure as the Governor of Tripura, he worked with dedication for the welfare and progress of the state and earned the respect and affection of the people with his humility and gracious conduct.
The Governor further said, the demise of the former Governor is a profound loss to the nation and to all those who had the privilege of associating with him. His legacy of public service and steadfast commitment to the ideals of the Constitution will continue to inspire future generations.
On behalf of the people of Tripura, the Governor has extended heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved family, friends and countless admirers and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family.
